Synopsis

In a Georgian village still marked by the economic collapse that followed the end of the Soviet Union, a widowed hazelnut farmer tries to preserve both his dignity and his livelihood. Power cuts, poverty, and an unstable market have become part of everyday life, but he stubbornly refuses to accept an unfair price for his harvest. At the same time, he begins to hope that life may offer him another chance at companionship and love. Moving between hardship, humour, and quiet tenderness, Guria follows a man determined to negotiate two things on his own terms: a fair price for the fruits of his labour and the possibility of beginning again.
