Synopsis

Set against the revolutionary events of 1905, the film is based on the true story of Arsena Jorjiashvili. Workers entrust the young revolutionary with the assassination of General Gryaznov, a senior representative of the Russian imperial authorities. Arsena carries out the mission but is soon arrested and sentenced to death. The film is one of the significant early historical works of Georgian Soviet cinema.
