Synopsis
A young man picks up a gun and steps outside into the streets of Sololaki. There he encounters a friend who appears visibly worried. From this simple meeting, the film builds a brief, tense situation in which what remains unsaid becomes as important as what happens on screen.
Sandro Saginadze
Sandro Saginadze is an emerging Georgian filmmaker working in short fiction and documentary cinema. His films include Antoshka Cab Driver, while Once Upon a Time in Sololaki received an Honorable Mention in the Microfilm category at Indie Short Fest in 2026. His short-form work uses compact situations and everyday encounters to create atmosphere and narrative tension.
