Synopsis
A playful stop-motion story turns an ordinary question — “What made you tired?” — into an examination of everyday domestic labour. By shifting familiar family roles, the film invites a father to experience responsibilities that usually remain unnoticed, transforming exhaustion into a humorous reflection on empathy, partnership, and the invisible work of daily life.
Elene Tavadze, Sofio Chincharauli
Elene Tavadze and Sofio Chincharauli are Georgian filmmakers and co-founders of Studio Fantasmagoria, established in Tbilisi in 2022 to revive and develop Georgia’s tradition of stop-motion puppet animation. Tavadze graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University and worked for several years in television before moving into animation. Chincharauli works as a film director and producer. Their studio’s first short, Elene Dariani (2024), was selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
